The price can be a bit negotiable as it's hard to price pianos, especially older ones. Considering this piano has been played and learned on by no less than 10 children in 2 generations, me the longest at 14 years, it is in good shape and would serve a beginner well. The piano itself has scratches and dings here and there, but nothing that a little cosmetic touch ups can't fix. The bench definitely needs some cosmetic touch up and the legs tightened a bit. The bench is original and holds music inside of it. I have not played it for quite a while, but it has always been well taken care of and in a climate controlled environment.

It was made by the Lester Piano Company in Philadelphia in 1953. This sweet, beautiful piano would be perfect for a beginner to learn on before buying a newer better piano.
